DR. DELEEUW: I do a lot of fat injection or fat transfer from one part of the body to another and it’s usually from the body to the face. And basically I suck the fat out with special equipment and then I inject it into the face. The fat takes pretty well. It doesn't all take, sometimes you have to repeat it, but when you transfer fat you're transferring stem cells and I think that repeated transfers into the face improves the overall skin quality. In fact people experimentally here using fat transfers to improve radiation ulcers and they're having some significant success from that. So I think fat transfer is only going to get better. I think it’s here to stay and I think it’s going to be a great modality as we move along into the future.
