DR. DELEEUW: One of the more obvious areas on anyone’s face is the area around their eyes. So as patients get older they get some loose skin in their eyelids, they get bags under their eyes, they don’t have as open an expression around their eyes as time goes on, and so what they need to look better is an eyelid lift. If someone has bags under their eyes it may be that they simply need fat removed which can be done from inside the eyelid. Also, skin can be removed from the eyelids by making incisions right under the eyelashes. And fortunately that skin heals so well that you'll never see the scar following the surgery.
