DR. DELEEUW: I started my training quite a few years ago. I was a general surgery resident with Dr. deBakey in Houston, and I did plastic surgery training in New Orleans at LSU, and I’ve been practicing here in Wilmington ever since. I'm certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I'm a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. I'm a member of the American Society for Esthetic Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the State Medical Society. I really enjoy the creativity involved in doing plastic surgery procedures, and I enjoy being able to see the results of my surgery, and I'm really happy when patients are happy with the results. I think that cosmetic surgery does a great deal for people in improving their self-esteem and their overall day to day happiness with themselves.
